Our behind is getting bigger!

Here I am once again, apologising like a naughty schoolgirl for not handing in my homework on time!  We've just had a wonderful weekend in Brighton with my younger daughter Kim and her partner Joe - I didn't mention our plans on the last blog as it's probably best not to tell everyone you're leaving your boat unattended for a few days, lol!

Anyway, after a few delays and cancelled trains this morning (nothing new there then!), we made it safely back to Northern Pride early afternoon, and have since travelled as far as Berkhamsted.  Tomorrow we're meeting Ellie and Mick (blog readers holidaying from Australia, who are here checking out boats and canals for their proposed trip in a couple of year's time) at or before Cow Roast Lock/pub.

We must be around four weeks late with the blog now; one day our behind won't look so big in this!  Hopefully we'll manage to post the blog for Wednesday 14 September tomorrow - with some amazing photos of Hampton Court Palace ...
